About Immune Deficiency: HIV

The HIV Program offers comprehensive care for children and youth living with or exposed to HIV. The program also provides prenatal counseling to pregnant women living with HIV, including the potential implications for their babies and the newborn protocol that is followed. Counseling is also provided to children and youth who have been sexually assaulted or had other potential exposures to HIV.

How to Make an Appointment

We accept referrals from physicians, pediatricians, nurse practitioners and Public Health.

For newly diagnosed children or youth with HIV, please phone the Nurse Coordinator directly at 613-737-2543 as we will follow-up within 24 hours.
