About the Neurophysiology Lab
The lab provides diagnostic neurophysiological testing. This includes a wide range of diagnostic neurophysiological procedures for children and youth.
- EEG (Routine, ambulatory, prolonged video monitoring, MSLT, ECOG).
- Evoked Potentials (BAEP, VEP, SEP, Intraoperative monitoring): Special tests that are done to evaluate the function of the audirory pathway with a headset that emits a sound(BAEP), to evaluate the visual pathway by watching a checker TV screen (VEP) and somatosensory system (SEP).
- Electromyography and nerve conduction studies are done twice a week by a technologist along with a neurologist.
How to Make an Appointment
All patients must be referred by a family physician or pediatrician.
