Oncology

About the Oncology Program

The oncology program provides specialized care to children and youth affected by cancer, including patient, family and community education. Transition to adult care centres is provided, with a formally established program for young adult survivors of childhood cancer. Children and youth may receive treatment while being hospitalized or as an outpatient through CHEO’s Medical Day Unit.

The medical day unit includes the following oncology clinics:

  • Oncology Clinic
  • Neuro-Oncology Clinic
  • Ortho-Oncology Clinic
  • Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic
  • Oncology Aftercare Clinics
  • Oncology Aftercare Transition Clinic

How to Make an Appointment

Referral from a physician is required.
