Vice President, Child Development and Community Services
Anne Huot is Vice President of Child Development and Community Services at CHEO. Her portfolio includes development and rehabilitation services, mental health, palliative care, genetics, autism, patient experience, complex care and the community discharge team. She brings enthusiasm and energy in leading others through transformative change.
Anne was the Executive Director of the Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre (OCTC) when it amalgamated with CHEO in October 2016. She played a lead role in integration of programs and services to create a system of care for children and youth. From 2010 to 2016, Anne was seconded to the Ontario Association of Children’s Rehabilitation Services (OACRS) on a part time basis to lead the development of a new clinical information system (GoldCare) across 17 children’s treatment centres in Ontario.
Anne Huot joined OCTC as Director of Client Programs and Information in December 1999 with prior experience in community and home health care, mental health and vocational rehabilitation. As a professionally trained social worker, Anne provided leadership within OCTC to deliver high quality client-centered care and supports through a variety of programs and services. She identified new and emerging opportunities for partnerships between organizations to streamline the client experience and make best use of resources. Anne was also OCTC’s Privacy and Information officer and lead for Information Technology and Information Management.
