Bruce Squires

Vice President, People, Strategy and Performance

Bruce Squires is the Vice President of People, Strategy and Performance. Bruce joined CHEO in 2013, bringing nearly 25 years of senior leadership experience in Canadian healthcare in varied roles such as CEO of the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association, Vice President at the Canadian Medical Association, and CEO of the Ontario Chiropractic Association. Throughout his career, Bruce has focused on assisting organizations in accomplishing major strategic transformations and on supporting engaged employees.

Bruce has a MBA from Dalhousie University, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Management at Carleton University. He also teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels in the areas of leadership, strategy, organizational behavior and human resources. In his spare time, Bruce and his family enjoy travel and adventure; including a recent trip to Cambodia and Thailand for house-building.
