Welcome to the CHEO Career Website

Pediatric health care is an exciting, challenging and rewarding field. If you are driven by a strong desire to help develop healthier, happier lives for children, come discover a supportive environment, a great team and a rewarding career.

As of October 1, 2016, CHEO has amalgamated with the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre (OCTC). In the past, we worked closely with OCTC staff as many of our patients with special needs are also clients of OCTC. This amalgamation means that we can now provide better, coordinated care to our shared patients and their families.

OCTC hosts a number of programs aimed at benefiting children and youth with special needs in our region. These programs rely on dedicated, hardworking staff to ensure they run smoothly and provide OCTC clients with the best possible experience. If you think you might be a good fit, we encourage you to review OCTC’s current job opportunities.

And every day is a new journey of discovery and healing. It is very special being at the forefront of the latest medical developments and the frontline of care for the children and youth of our community.”

CHEO offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package; a "family-friendly" environment that supports staff and their families, as well as our patients and their families; a chance to grow personally and professionally through a comprehensive orientation program and on-the-job learning; support for continued; and a truly unique work environment.
