Daphne Fedoruk is a lawyer at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP, practising in all areas of employment, labour law and human rights law. She is a trusted advisor to employers in both contentious and non-contentious workplace matters, providing strategic advice on complex workforce issues.
Daphne has unique experience leading large client projects and coordinating multi-jurisdictional advice with team members across her firm’s national and international practice. Daphne advises on major workforce reductions and restructuring, workplace policy reviews, and executive employment issues. She frequently advises on human rights accommodation and represents clients before the Ontario and Canadian Human Rights Tribunals.
Daphne has represented major Canadian companies before provincial and federal courts and courts of appeal, labour relations boards and labour arbitrators. She has acted for large employers in high profile overtime class actions, pay equity disputes and wrongful dismissal litigation.
In her practice, Daphne frequently advises not-for-profit and health care organizations. She has served as a board member and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre and is certified in Not-for-Profit Governance by the Institute of Corporate Directors and Rotman School of Management.
