Finding Parking

Visitors may park in the large lot "A" beside the hospital. Parking is $3.50 per half hour, with a daily maximum of $13.00. Three Day-Passes can be upgraded to a Weekly Pass for an extra $3.25 charge.

There is also a special $42.25 weekly rate (7 Days). Two Weekly passes can be upgraded to a Monthly Pass for an extra $5.50 charge.

Also available are a $90.00 monthly pass (4 Weeks) and a $45.00 pass for frequent users (15 visits). There is also a night rate of $6.00 for parking between the hours of 10:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

With the introduction of automated pay stations, visitors are reminded that they must bring their parking ticket inside the hospital. On completion of your visit or appointment, please proceed to one of two Pay Stations Kiosk to pay the parking ticket. The Pay Stations Kiosks are located at the main entrance of the hospital and in the Emergency Department.

Visitors can also pay by credit card directly at the exit gate. (This is the fastest and preferred way)

Things to keep in mind with the new automated pay stations:
  • Bring your parking ticket with you inside the hospital. After your visit or appointment, proceed to the pay station before returning to your vehicle.
  • At the pay station, insert the parking ticket into the appropriate slot. The pay station will calculate your fee.
  • Insert cash or credit card. Your ticket will be validated as paid and be returned to you.
  • Take your paid ticket with you as you return to the parking lot. Drive to the exit lane, insert paid ticket into the slot and the gate will open.
  • Questions about parking can be directed to CHEO Security Office located on the second floor of the hospital, in proximity to the Emergency Department.
