The Asthma Society of Canada provides helpful information about dealing with asthma in schools.

The Weather Network provides information on pollen counts and a air pollution information in each part of Canada

Daily information on air quality, by Ontario city, is also available on the Ontario Air Quality Index and the Canadian Air Quality Health Index, by location  

If you want to know what respiratory viruses have been circulating recently, you can look at the Public Health Agency of Canada

Can, the Children's Asthma Network, sponsored by the Child Asthma Network Project, Calgary (Alberta) Health Region has an animated story especially suited for young children, and links to many other asthma resources for children. 

The Asthma Initiative of Michigan has a good web site for teens

In the province of Ontario, Canada, you may call the Ontario Lung Association's Asthma Action Program telephone line at 1-888-344-LUNG (5864) for more information on asthma, or to obtain copies of the book "Asthma in Children," by Dr. Tom Kovesi, which is based on this Web site.
