Eating Disorders

About the Eating Disorders Program

The program provides inpatient and outpatient services for children and youth who suffer from an eating disorder.

The inpatient program provides specialized treatment for severely ill children and youth requiring hospitalization. Patients benefit from specialized treatment that addresses their medical, psychiatric, academic, psychological and nutritional needs.

Additionally, CHEO provides intensive day treatment, outpatient assessment and follow-up services.

How to Make an Appointment

Referral is by family physician or pediatrician, directed to Mental Health Intake at 613-737-7600, ext. 2496

  1. Eating Disorders Triage document, and
  2. CYSPMHS Intake Form (both documents need to be fill out)
