Kids Health Alliance (KHA) is a new partnership recently launched by three of Ontario’s largest paediatric health-care providers. Founded by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Holland Bloorview) and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario – Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre (CHEO – OCTC), the partnership aims to strengthen Ontario’s paediatric health system by improving access to more coordinated, consistent, high-quality clinical care, research and education for children, youth and their families, ultimately for improved health outcomes.
Over time, KHA will evolve to include other paediatric health-care providers, including community hospitals, paediatricians, rehabilitation services, home health agencies, mental health services, and other service providers, who all share a common goal of improving the health of children and youth in Ontario.
KHA is looking for an Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management/oversight of KHA’s programs, operations, and performance. The Executive Director will play a vital role in developing and advancing the Alliance, through the planning and execution of strategic initiatives across the three founding partners and working with other paediatric health care providers (e.g. community hospitals, community paediatrician, mental health organizations, etc.) to achieve the Alliance’s goals.
The Executive Director will report to the Board of KHA through the Executive Chair (CEO of SickKids Hospital).
