A Registered Nurse is required for the Eating Disorders Program. The registered Nurse will work on the Eating Disorders Inpatient unit and liaise with the Eating Disorders Day Program, and clinics as required. The successful candidate will be integral in assisting with the group activities which include meal support, group psychotherapy and parent training.
· Nursing assessments and interventions for patients within the Eating Disorders Program
· Education of the patient, family and other health care providers regarding Eating Disorders.
· Participate in Group Psychotherapy and other program activities
· Assist with meal support
· Teaching and research
· Liaison with the Day program Eating Disorders Program and clinics as required.
§ Police Reference Check (PRC) (Essential)
§ Current Certification of competence, College of Nurses of Ontario (Essential)
§ Current CPR Certification (Essential)
§ B.Sc. Nursing (Preferred)
§ Paediatric nursing experience (Preferred)
§ Strong interest in paediatric mental health (Essential)
§ Excellent team work and interpersonal skills (Essential)
§ Knowledge and experience in the area of Eating Disorders (Essential)
§ Strong interpersonal and team skills (Essential)
§ Bilingual (English/ French) (Preferred)
