A PhD psychologist is required for the CHEO Eating Disorders Program. This position will have a focus in providing outpatient services and will support the Day Treatment Program as required. The Psychologist will be part of an interdisciplinary team offering services to children and youth who have severe eating disorders.
§ Psychological assessments
§ Individual, family and group psychotherapy
§ Participation in interdisciplinary team rounds and case planning
§ Participation in teaching and research activities
§ Police Record Check (PRC) (Essential)
§ Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university (Essential)
§ Registration as a Psychologist in Ontario or eligibility for registration (Essential)
§ Experience assessing and treating children and youth presenting with severe eating disorder (Essential)
§ Experience with the assessment and treatment of children and youth presenting with severe mental health (Essential)
§ Experience with group and family therapy (Essential)
§ Ability to work in a high paced interdisciplinary team (Essential)
§ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals (Essential)
§ Bilingual – Fluency in both French and English (Preferred)
