The Financial Analyst reports to the Manager, Corporate Accounting. The analyst provides technical support to the hospital’s Investments, Foundation, Accrued Liabilities, and Inventory.
§ Performs all accounting related to the hospitals investments including provincial and corporate bonds
§ Responsible for the coordination/preparation of various programs and accounts including the Foundation and Retail Pharmacy
§ Assists in monthly and year end financial analysis of key general ledger control accounts in preparation of the external audit for the hospital
§ Assists and provides backup for the collection and input of accounting transactions from various financial application systems into the General Ledger
§ Supports daily contacts with directors/managers in regards to financial transactions, reporting and other information requirements
§ Other tasks/projects as delegated.

§ Bachelor Degree in Commerce – Honors in Accounting (Essential)
