Media Invitation: Ottawa Police team up with Youth Net/RĂ©seau Ado to raise awareness about youth mental health

(Ottawa)—On Monday, April 12, 2010, the Ottawa Police Service along with Youth Net/Réseau Ado will be launching a series of communication products aimed at increasing awareness about the challenges of youth living with mental health concerns. Youth Net/Réseau Ado is a bilingual regional mental health promotion and intervention program run by youth, for youth, within the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).

When:                         Monday, April 12, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Made possible with funding provided by the Department of Justice Canada, the communication products will cover different youth mental health concerns, as well as crisis intervention information and resources for youth.
