Grand Prize winner announced in CHEO’s Dream of a Lifetime Lottery
Ottawa, January 11, 2012 - Earlier today the draws were made for the first and second prizes in the 2011 edition of CHEO’s Dream of a Lifetime Lottery.

The winners were announced during the CTV News at Noon and we congratulate Mike, Madeleine and Maurice Viau of Kemptville, ticket number 38697, who are the winners of the grand prize package worth over $1.8 million dollars and includes the fully furnished Minto Dream Home, $100,000 Cash, a 2012 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid from Jim Keay Ford Lincoln, house cleaning for a year from The Maids Home Services and $5,000 in groceries from Farm Boy.

Dave Stewart, ticket number 35058 has won the second prize that is worth over $157,000 and includes $100,000 in cash, a 2012 Ford Mustang Convertible from Jim Keay Ford Lincoln, a Mediterranean Cruise for 2 from Destination Anywhere and a $10,000 Gift Certificate from Jubilee Fine Jewelers.

A list of all winning ticket numbers will be printed in the Ottawa Citizen and Le Droit on Friday, January 13th, 2012. Ticket holders can also check their tickets online at as of 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 12th. A complete list of all winning numbers will also be available on the web site. All winners will receive a confirmation letter from KPMG within two weeks outlining how to claim their prize.

The 2011 Dream of a Lifetime Lottery was a sellout which means the real winners are the children and youth at CHEO. On behalf of the thousands of patients who rely on CHEO each and every week the Foundation warmly thanks all of our ticket buyers and sponsors for their continued support which helps the hospital purchase equipment, conduct vital research, train staff, and make like better for CHEO’s kids.
