Judy Rashotte, RN, MScN, PhD
Under the direction of the Director, Nursing Research & Knowledge Transfer Consultant, the centre of nursing research:
- Supports and promotes evidence-based paediatric clinical nursing practice at CHEO
- Develops innovative strategies to advance nursing research at CHEO
- Supports the professional development of nurses at CHEO in the area of research
- Supports the professional development of graduate nurses in the area of research.
Nursing Research Chair
Denise Harrison, Endowed Chair in Nursing Care of Children, Youth and Families
- Leads and participates in research especially relating to pain in infants and children
- Mentors and supervisors student internships, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
- Embeds research teaching in the University of Ottawa nursing undergraduate program
- Supports the growth in research capacity for CHEO nurses
