Understanding Problems with Depression, Suicide and Anxiety in Youth

This information session will give parents the opportunity to meet with a panel of mental health experts from the community. Parents will be able to ask their questions by microphone, submit a written question or even submit a question in advance when registering on the web site (see below).

Location: Collège Catholique Samuel-Genest located at 704 Carson Rd in Ottawa.

  • Clairneige Motzoi, Ph.D., psychology clinic
    Claire is part of the hospital’s consultation and liaison team and works with the eating disorder program. Before that she was part of the anxiety team at the hospital.
  • Ian Manion, Ph.D., C.Psych.
    Dr. Manion is director general of the Ontario Centre of excellence for child and youth mental health
  • Renée Ouimet, MSS, TSI
    Director , Division of education and community outreach
    Canadian mental Health Association, Ottawa chapter
  • Martine Flament, MD, PhD, FRCPC
    Dr. Flament is a psychiatrist and professor of psychiatry and psychology at the University of Ottawa.
    She is also the director of research for youth at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Research Centre.
