The Kaitlin Atkinson Family Resource Library

Kaitlin Atkinson
The Kaitlin Atkinson Family Resource Library has materials on child health, illness and injury, and parenting. It is free and open to the public.

The Library was made possible with funds raised by the Atkinson family, friends and colleagues in support of Kaitlin, who died at the age of three of a rare lung disease.

It is sustained by the ongoing contributions of many donors.

We are located on the First (lower) Level at CHEO, across from the elevators. We are open 8:00 to 4:30, Monday through Friday.

You will find:
  • Books, videos, and DVDs that you may borrow for two weeks
  • Computers where you can search the Internet
  • Library staff and volunteers to help you with your questions
You can find out what books and videos we have by checking the Library Catalogue, or by looking at one of our many Resource Lists on Pediatric Health Topics.

The resource lists include titles of books, DVDs and videos held at the Kaitlin Atkinson Family Resource Library. Links to websites and contact information for local agencies and organizations are also provided. New topics are added and lists are updated as new materials are acquired.
