At CHEO, we take infection prevention seriously. Simple actions like cleaning hands, wearing a mask when needed, and keeping spaces clean can help stop the spread of germs in the hospital. This page explains what we do and how you can help.
| Masking at CHEO |

Protect others by masking when you're feeling sick, or when viruses are circulating in our community. Masks are available for all patients, parents, caregivers and visitors at CHEO. | Additional Isolation Information |

Sometimes, patients with the same infection may be cared for in the same area or room. This is called cohorting. |
Infection prevention is a team effort. By following the steps above, you can help protect your child and other patients and families.
