Temporary changes to CHEO’s main entrance starting April 6

March 30, 2026, Ottawa, ON — The next phase of work on CHEO’s new Integrated Treatment Centre will temporarily affect access to the main entrance.

These changes will be in place from Monday, April 6 to Friday, May 22, and will have an impact on patients, families and those who work at CHEO.

During this time:

Para Transpo access to the main entrance will be adjusted.

Traffic exiting the main entrance drop‑off area will change.

Some pedestrian paths to the Max Keeping and Main entrances will be closed and redirected.

Patients and families can also use the Garry Cardiff Wing entrance (near Parking Lot A and the parking garage).

Clear signage and wayfinding volunteers will help guide families safely and efficiently.
