Kids Come First Care Clinic and COVID-19 testing move to temporary new location at CHEO

Ottawa, Ontario, March 24, 2022 — The Kids Come First Care Clinic for COVID-19 has moved from the Brewer Arena to a temporary new location on CHEO’s main campus at 401 Smyth Road, Ottawa. COVID-19 testing for eligible children and youth has also moved from the Brewer Arena to CHEO.

The Kids Come First Care Clinic is now available at CHEO for in-person assessment and care of children and youth with viral illnesses, which include a fever, cough or runny nose....

CHEO dedicates accessibility funding to honour Kim McLeod

Ottawa — CHEO is establishing the Kim McLeod Accessibility Fund, an annual fund of $150,000 that honours the tireless advocate for families of children and youth with complex medical needs. The funds will be used to improve accessibility across CHEO, a pediatric health and research centre in Ottawa.
