OTTAWA, Canada – January 26, 2022 – Resuming non-contact physical activity 72 hours after a concussion is safe, and may also reduce symptoms and the risk of delayed recovery, suggests the first and largest real-world, randomized clinical trial on the topic to be conducted with children and youth aged 10 to 18.

OTTAWA, Canada – January 24, 2022 – A study led by CHEO researcher Dr. Tom Kovesi documenting indoor air quality and housing characteristics in four isolated First Nations communities in northwestern Ontario found frequent rates of respiratory infections in children under three years of age and that high rates of wheezing in this age group was related to poor housing conditions.
