CHEO's Integrated Treatment Centre
A once-in-a-generation investment to improve health services for children and youth
Our Integrated Treatment Centre is a key part of a 10-year redevelopment plan that aims to transform our Smyth Road campus to better meet the needs of children and youth today and in the future.
This new facility and model of care will be a cornerstone of CHEO's commitment to providing world-class integrated health care for children and youth, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive.
It is not only a building; it is a new way to deliver care for children and youth with complex medical, developmental, behavioural and mental health needs at CHEO. As such, we are building a new, integrated model of care, that is both personalized and connected to the needs of every child, youth and family.
By breaking barriers between specialties, CHEO care teams can collaborate more effectively. This will lead to earlier interventions and smoother transitions between services at the Integrated Treatment Centre, which will ultimately improve health outcomes for patients at CHEO.
