CHEO’s Gender Diversity clinic supports children, youth and families at all stages of their journey with gender identity.
During your visit you will meet clerks, nurses, social workers and physicians from the Adolescent Health and Endocrinology teams. You might also meet staff from other areas across CHEO.
How to make an appointment
To book an appointment with CHEO’s Gender Diversity clinic you will need to have a referral.
Please note, our clinic accepts referrals for children and youth living in Ontario only.
We accept referrals from:
- Health-care providers, like your family doctor or pediatrician;
- school guidance counsellors and teachers;
- community partners (this could be Youth Services Bureau, YouthNet, a psychologist in the community and others).
Meet with your family doctor, pediatrician or school guidance counsellor, etc. and ask them to send in a referral.
